RatRig 40160 Aluminum Profiles for the CNC has ARRIVED!

RatRig 40160 Aluminumprofiles arrived yesterday and today i opened up the package.
40160 means 40mm wide, 160mm high profiles. The length of the Profiles are 1000mm.

Also 90 degree brackets and M8 T-slot nuts was in the box.

The brackets have guiding tabs to make it easier to fasten them in the profiles slots. The tabs are not good if you want to fix the profiles to a table. Then the Tabs just needs to be sanded flat.

I noticed one corner of the profile to be damaged but I think it seems only to be corner that is damaged so no problem for aligning profiles.

Next up to check how the HGR20 linear rails will align on the profile and it seems to be a good choice in overall to buy the HGR20 and the RatRig 40160 aluminum profiles. The 1000mm 40160 profiles costs around ~45€ á piece.

Since the HGR20 rails have been pre-drilled with M5 bolt fittings, i need to figure out M5 size T-slot nuts or square nuts that will fit the 40160 profile slots.
